Privacy Policy

Frame & Clause ("we," "us," "our") operates the Frame & Clause website and app at frameandclause.com. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

We collect only what we need to run the Service:

• — Account information: your name, email address, and password (stored hashed). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile image from Google.
• — Contract content: the information you enter into the contract generator (client names, shoot details, pricing) and the generated contract documents themselves, if you choose to save them to your account.
• — Billing information: your subscription status, plan, and billing period. Card numbers are processed and stored by Stripe — we never see or store full card details.
• — Lead / sample requests: if you request the free sample contract, we collect your name, email, and business type to send the sample and follow-up emails.
• — Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser, timestamps) used for security and debugging.

• — To provide the Service: authenticate your account, generate contracts, save your work, and process your subscription.
• — To communicate with you: transactional emails (receipts, password resets, sample delivery), and occasional product updates you can unsubscribe from.
• — To keep the Service secure and prevent fraud or abuse.
• — To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your contract content to train AI models. We do not run advertising on the Service.

We share personal information only with the third-party services we use to run Frame & Clause:

• — Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage (US).
• — Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing (US).
• — Google — OAuth sign-in, if you choose to use it (US).
• — Resend — transactional and product emails (US).
• — Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, and DDoS protection (global).

We may also disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Frame & Clause, our users, or the public.

Frame & Clause uses only essential cookies — the ones required to keep you signed in, process your subscription checkout, and remember basic UI preferences. We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.

Because we set only essential cookies, no consent banner is legally required in most jurisdictions. If we ever add analytics or marketing cookies, we will ask for your consent first.

We keep your account information and saved contracts for as long as your account is active. You can delete saved contracts from your dashboard at any time. If you close your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we're required to keep it (e.g. billing records for tax and accounting purposes).

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data: encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), encryption at rest for stored data, hashed passwords, and role-based access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe and will notify affected users promptly if a breach occurs.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• — Access the personal information we hold about you.
• — Correct inaccurate information.
• — Delete your account and associated data.
• — Export your data in a portable format.
• — Object to or restrict certain processing.

Frame & Clause is for professional photographers and videographers and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, email us and we'll delete it.

Frame & Clause is operated from the United States, and your information is processed and stored in the US. If you're accessing the Service from outside the US, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in the US.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the effective date above and, for material changes, notify you through the Service or by email.
