What kinds of contracts can I generate?
Shoot-day agreements, image licensing, wedding coverage, commercial/branded work, and video production contracts. Each one is built from clauses used on real jobs, not a template mill.
I already use HoneyBook / Dubsado — why do I need this?
HoneyBook and Dubsado are excellent for running your business day-to-day — scheduling, invoicing, client communication. But their contract templates are built to serve every kind of service business, not specifically photography and video work. Frame & Clause does one thing: generates shoot-type-specific contracts — 14+ types, from weddings to commercial licensing — with clauses reviewed by a practicing attorney. You don't have to replace your CRM. Use Frame & Clause alongside it, specifically for the contract itself.
Are these contracts legally binding?
Yes — every clause has been reviewed by a practicing attorney and reflects standard, enforceable language for photography and video work. That said, contract law varies by state, and Frame & Clause doesn't replace personalized legal advice for unusual or high-stakes shoots.
Can I edit the contracts after they're generated?
Yes. Every contract is generated as plain text you can download, copy, and edit in any word processor. You can also regenerate as many times as you need — Pro is unlimited.
Do you store my contracts?
Contracts you save are stored to your account so you can re-download them later. They're only visible to you. You can delete them from your dashboard.
How does billing work?
Frame & Clause Pro is $20/month, billed monthly. You can cancel from your account page at any time — you'll keep access until the end of the billing period.
Do you offer refunds?
If something goes wrong or the product isn't what you expected, email us within 7 days of your first charge and we'll refund it.
Can I use these contracts for clients outside the US?
The contracts are drafted in plain English and work in most common-law jurisdictions. We've now included UK (England & Wales) and Canada-specific language — governing law, jurisdiction, late-payment statutes, and data-protection rules — that you can select when generating your contract. Even so, consumer-protection, tax, and IP rules vary by country, so customers should still consult an attorney in their home country to assure the language is binding and correct.
